David Brazle has been working as a full-time high school math teacher for over 16 years. He’s taught Algebra 1, Geometry, Honors Algebra 2, Honors Pre-Calculus, and AP Statistics. Regarding private tutoring, David has tutored students in the same classes as well as IB Studies, SL, and HL Math. He’s well qualified to help with a B.A. in Secondary Math Education, an M.A. in Secondary Math Education and an M.Ed. in Learning and Technology. He’s been tutoring math privately for 24 years, since tutoring his peers in high school as part of the National Honor Society. During college he worked in the academic resource center, organized study sessions and also helped students one-on-one. Since then, he has tutored students from multiple schools in Oakland County (International Academy, Cranbrook, Detroit Country Day, St. Regis, Brother Rice, Notre Dame Prep, Birmingham Seaholm, Birmingham Groves, and Troy).
David loves spending time with his family. They like to play hide-and-seek, ride bikes around the neighborhood, have dance parties, or most recently, have indoor “snowball fights” with crumpled up pieces of paper. During the summer, the Brazle family loves adventures and spending time with family. They love swimming, taking road trips to mountains, lakes, and National Parks. They also like to spend time at the lake at Grammie and Grampie’s.
David loves math and loves helping students find confidence in their math abilities. He’d love to schedule a session with you. David also finds it awkward to write in 3rd person about himself.
